A Timely Look Into a Vast World of Boring, Cliched Art

I loved the first two editions of Vitamin P, but this one leaves me feeling super-flat, and not in the Takashi Murakami way. This is just my personal opinion/aesthetic though. I found that most of the work in P3 was the sort that makes me question the values of the contemporary art world; if this is cutting edge, what the hell am I not getting? Lots of boring, boring work. A few gems here and there, but the rest of it is boring stuff that's been done to death in various other ways by other artists over the last forty years. There is so much amazing painting going on these days, but you're not going to find it in P3.
